Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Services Manager to join our team at Econo Lodge City Center Inn. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of our hotel.
  2. Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  3. Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible rates for materials and supplies.
  4. Client Relations: Negotiate with clients to secure the use of our facilities and ensure a positive experience.
  5. Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the financial stability of our hotel.
  6. Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. You should have a strong understanding of business operations and be able to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who have participated in government or community programs that support newcomers, youth employment, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
