Job Title: Restaurant Team Lead - Service Excellence

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at BC Ltd. o/a Tim Hortons. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen helpers, and other restaurant staff.
  • This includes supervising daily operations, ensuring that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • The Team Lead will also be responsible for training new staff members, addressing customer complaints, and managing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead by example and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  3. Train and develop new staff members to ensure they meet the high standards of our brand.
  4. Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and waste management.
  5. Prepare and manage budgets, including cost estimates and financial reporting.
  6. Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food service industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
