We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with complex and unpredictable health needs, including those requiring emergency medical treatment.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications, and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care and discharge.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Recent, related experience in emergency nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to prioritize care for multiple patients, manage competing demands, and maintain a high level of concentration in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Bilingualism (English/French) or proficiency in an Indigenous language.
- Current certification in Emergency Nursing, such as ENPC or TNCC.
- Experience with patient education and health promotion.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and guidelines related to emergency nursing.
