The Quality Assurance Technician will work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, ensuring company and customer quality standards are met through quality tests, inspection checks, equipment calibration, and communicating test results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular online inspections for blow molding, filling, and palletizing, ensuring specifications and corporate requirements are met.
  • Ensure all non-bulk and bulk chemicals received follow our policies and procedures.
  • Perform batch analysis on blended products.
  • Maintain all equipment calibrations required by QA.
  • Perform ISO/C-TPAT audits.
  • Oversee the super concentrate blending process.
  • Ensure online inspections are completed regularly, monitoring and managing manufacturing processes, including bottles, labels, filling, and palletizing, to meet the highest quality as per our ISO standards.
  • Perform incoming inspection of non-bulk and bulk chemicals by comparing specs against specification sheets before approval.
  • Perform batch analysis by testing samples to ensure batches meet specifications and troubleshoot the blending process. Recommend corrective action if needed.
  • Maintain data collection sheets, records, and samples for all QA-related functions.
  • Ensure all calibration equipment is kept to standard and report any off-specs to third-party maintenance.
  • Perform ISO and C-TPAT audits regularly, ensuring all procedures are followed according to our SOP.
  • Monitor held/quarantine stock, ensuring rework is carried out according to ISO requirements and responding to leakers and damaged product to the production supervisor.
  • Oversee the super concentrate blending process by observing mixing and blending of chemicals, performing analytical tests: pH, specific gravity, freezing point, etc.

Qualifications

  • College Degree or equivalent training/experience.
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing working experience required for this position.
  • Good communication skills in English, written/verbal.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all departments and management.
  • Strong chemistry concept and knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques.
  • Intermediate level of required working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of AS400 and MS Office.

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
