Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that company and customer quality standards are met by conducting quality tests, performing inspection checks, calibrating equipment, and communicating test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular online inspections for blow molding, filling, and palletizing to ensure specifications and corporate requirements are met.
- Ensure all non-bulk and bulk chemicals received follow our policies and procedures.
- Perform batch analysis on blended products.
- Maintain all equipment calibrations required by QA.
- Ensure online inspections are completed regularly by monitoring and managing the manufacturing processes of bottles, labels, filling, and palletizing products, ensuring they meet the highest quality as per our ISO standards.
- Perform incoming inspection of non-bulk and bulk chemicals by comparing specs received against specification sheets before approving.
- Perform batch analysis by testing samples to ensure all batches meet specifications and troubleshoot the blending process. Maintain data collection sheets, records, and samples for all QA-related functions.
- Oversee the super concentrate blending process by observing the mixing and blending of chemicals, then perform analytical tests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A College Degree or equivalent training/experience.
- ~2-4 years of manufacturing working experience to perform the functions of the position.
- Good communication skills in English, written/verbal.
- Strong chemistry concepts and knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques.
- An intermediate level of required working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- BASIC knowledge of AS400 and MS Office.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
