As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of estimating and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures related to the estimating process.

You will engage with clients to maintain a continuous flow of project opportunities and collaborate with suppliers to uphold competitiveness in the industry.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating electrical ICI construction projects, preferably involving P3 projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of costs for materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects based on bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications
  • Offer insights on tendering procedures, assess tenders, and recommend tender awards
  • Participate in site reviews, tender reviews, tender hand-offs, project closures, and operational meetings
  • Establish and manage a list of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Communicate and collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
Requirements
  • Graduate of electrical estimating or construction program
  • Several years of experience in the electrical construction field
  • Minimum of 10 years in estimating electrical ICI construction projects, preferably involving P3 projects
  • Advanced knowledge of estimate closure
  • Interpretation of project electrical designs
  • Construction scheduling, planning, and execution
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong deadline management
