Job Title: Senior Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sushi Town Restaurant(Coquitlam) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Senior Culinary Specialist will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the culinary team to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Conduct kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to improve their culinary skills.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Work Environment:

The Senior Culinary Specialist will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The work hours are 30-40 hours per week.
