About the RoleBell's Enterprise Data Platforms and AI team is focused on driving data transformation across the organization. We are seeking a Senior Data Governance professional to lead the development of a unified data platform strategy and create an AI practice to facilitate the curation of AI and machine learning use cases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a data governance framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop data management processes, including data collection, storage, access, usage, and disposal.
- Champion data quality, establishing and enforcing data quality standards and implementing monitoring mechanisms.
- Promote data literacy, educating and training employees on data governance principles and best practices.
- Work closely with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of data governance initiatives.
- Regularly monitor data governance compliance and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data governance best practices, regulations, and technologies.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, policies, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and developing data management processes.
- Expertise in data quality management and assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- Working technical knowledge of the Collibra Data catalog platform.
- Experience with rolling out a Dataplex instance supporting multitenancy in a data mesh development lifecycle for GCP.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
