Baptist Housing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Heights at Mount View, a seven-story, 260-suite long-term care community in Saanich. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatment, and patient transfers
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident
- Conduct resident assessments, monitor health status, and make recommendations for care and treatment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and support to colleagues, promoting a positive and respectful work environment
Requirements:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM)
- Experience in long-term care or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support
