Job Title: Natural Gas Systems Specialist


We're seeking an experienced and skilled Natural Gas Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of our natural gas systems.


About the Role



  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations
  • Assist emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems

Requirements



  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Judgement and a positive attitude
  • A team player with accurate and client-focused approach
