Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team at Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd., one of the largest individual chicken processing plants in Western Canada. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a factory environment and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure seamless production
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment across the plant
  • Install new equipment and perform fabrication and welding tasks
  • Conduct electrical and boiler checks, as well as plumbing and machine upgrades
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 5th class power engineering ticket for boiler operations (an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in the food industry (an asset)
