Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Organizational Design Leader to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic enterprise organizational transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to complete strategic organizational design and effectiveness work to deliver business results and minimize risk.
  • Lead and execute strategic enterprise organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategies and stakeholder needs.
  • Develop and implement organization design and development solutions to drive business excellence and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide advice and guidance to assigned business groups on implementation of wide range of organization solutions, including organization efficiency and organization effectiveness.
  • Operate at a group/enterprise-wide level and serve as a subject matter expert on organizational design solutions and senior organizational design specialist resource across BMO.
Requirements
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert knowledge across the field of organization design and development.
  • Expert knowledge of organization design principles, process and methodology, including job evaluation methods and tools.
  • Research skills - Expert.
  • Design thinking - Expert.
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - Expert.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - Expert.
  • Influence skills - Expert.
  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - Expert.
