At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our Indigenous EASE Cloud Accounting Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize cutting-edge technology and provide exceptional services to clients.

Job Description

This position involves delivering a comprehensive suite of financial services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll administration. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for assisting with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for MNP Indigenous clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/filings, recording of sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, payroll, and Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) transactions.
  • Set up client files and assist with the completion of budgets and administrative planning.
  • Maintain, monitor, and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and intercompany and point of sale (POS)/system uploads.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in commerce or business administration, preferably with a major in accounting, finance, or management information systems (MIS).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Experience executing accounting system implementations.
  • Proficiency in working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50, Sage 300, Xyntax, Adagio, and other legacy desktop products.
  • Experience working with cloud-based accounting packages is considered an asset.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a group pension plan, flexible benefits, mental health resources, professional development assistance, and more.
