At Macro Engineering & Technology Inc., we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various components and parts using hand and power tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate and tend automated assembling equipment, such as robotic and fixed automation equipment.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand and power tools and other aids.
- Test electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance using testing devices.
- Clean and prepare work sites, and signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Lubricate, clean, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in assembly and manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
