Job Title: Manager, Procurement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Procurement to join our team at Bausch & Lomb. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and inventory levels at our Steinbach plant to meet global procurement KPIs and manufacturing site objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing and purchasing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and monitor contractual commitments and disputes with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to the procurement team.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in procurement function.
  • CCP designation or APICS certification is recommended.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts and systems (SAP Purchasing).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
