We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Exercise Physiology Lecturer to join our team at the University of Toronto.
Course Information:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PSL350H1S Mammalian Molecular Biology, a course that extends molecular biology concepts to current scientific literature in mammalian physiology. The course will cover topics such as circadian rhythms and transcription, and exercise physiology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present lectures on circadian rhythms and transcription, and exercise physiology.
- Prepare unique exam questions for mid-term exams and make-up tests.
- Facilitate small-group topic sessions, including lectures, marking student lay summaries/critiques, and assessing student presentations.
Requirements:
- PhD in physiology or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in molecular physiology and pathophysiology research.
- Prior experience in teaching molecular physiology and pathophysiology, and facilitating active learning.
