Job Summary
University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a skilled Research Analyst to work with the CTEPH research Program. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in recruiting participants, collecting demographic and clinical data, modifying and maintaining electronic and paper data management systems, and performing data entry from health records or other sources. You will also participate in qualitative analyses of data collected from patients and coordinate participant sample collection schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in recruiting participants by identifying potential participants, obtaining informed consent, and collecting demographic and clinical data.
  2. Modify and maintain electronic and paper data management systems, perform data entry from health records or other sources as per approved study protocol and authorized access.
  3. Obtain medical data on research subjects from registries.
  4. Participate in qualitative analyses of data collected from patients.
  5. Coordinate participant sample collection schedules.
  6. Maintain all regulatory files and execute study-related administrative tasks such as filing of study documents, bookings, and requests, administrative binders, etc.

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a health-related discipline, or equivalent.
  • 6 months related experience, clinical research experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as ICH/GCP.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software.
