SickKids is seeking a Clinical Research Project Assistant to work closely with our team to assist in study operations. This position involves conducting clinical research tasks, coordinating study logistics, and managing data using Electronic Data Capture systems.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Good communication skills are essential to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting clinical research tasks such as obtaining patient consent and scheduling study visits
  • Coordinating and assisting with cognitive, motor skills, and eye tests using specialized equipment
  • Collecting, managing, and analyzing clinical and research data using EDC systems
  • Reporting adverse events to regulatory bodies
  • Managing and updating study documents via REB platforms

Experience in clinical trials and data management is an asset. The ideal candidate will be able to function independently yet collaboratively within a team.
