We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service Employee to join our team at First Student Shared Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our school buses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on school buses, including fueling, oil changes, and tire checks.
- Conduct daily inspections of buses to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure that all buses are properly maintained and ready for service.
- Assist with the coordination of bus movements and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient transportation of students.
- Perform light maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of bus maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical.
