Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team in West Elgin, Dutton, and Rodney. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, prioritizing vehicle maintenance, and providing support to students during boarding and exiting the bus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of $19.50.
  • A 3.5 hour/day guarantee.
  • Additional hours available through charter route opportunities.
  • A child ride-along program.
  • No nights or weekends.
