Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Burger King. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and manage kitchen staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or kitchen management role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
