Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Central Victoria Animal Hospital.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with our ER DVMs and board-certified specialists in a fast-paced, stimulating environment. This role requires strong leadership, a desire to grow skills, and a positive teamwork attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
  • Prepare, assist, and recover patients for surgery.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.
  • Develop strong problem-solving skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
  • Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
  • Ability to work on a rotating schedule and maintain a great work-life balance.
