Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Central Victoria Animal Hospital.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work closely with our ER DVMs and board-certified specialists in a fast-paced, stimulating environment. This role requires strong leadership, a desire to grow skills, and a positive teamwork attitude.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the care and treatment of patients, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Prepare and assist with surgical procedures, including patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and pet parents.
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
- Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
