Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Centre Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Calgary. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working with children in a medical capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver daily and as-needed medications to campers
  • Provide education and encouragement on healthy behaviors to campers and staff
  • Assess illness and injuries and recommend further diagnostics or treatments to camper families
  • Supervise staff and be available to help with on-site and backcountry emergency response
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse
  • Experience working with children in a medical capacity
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Evidence of proof of COVID-19 vaccine
  • Three professional references
