Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Mountains and Meadows Care Group.

Job Summary:

The Continuing Care Assistant will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Support residents with mobility and balance issues, including walking, standing, and transferring.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and requisitions between departments.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
