Welding Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team at NAIT. As an educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of welding professionals.
About the RoleThis is a salaried position that requires a strong background in welding, with a minimum of 5 years of recent industry experience. You will be responsible for teaching students in a classroom, laboratory, and industry setting, preparing learning outcomes and activities, participating in curriculum development, and facilitating the learning process.
You will also be expected to create assessment tools, maintain student records, provide coaching and tutoring, respond to student issues, and utilize educational technology for presentations and communications.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach students in a classroom, laboratory, and industry setting

- Participate in curriculum development and program reviews
- Facilitate the learning process

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical knowledge of welding, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
You will also need to have a high school diploma, completion of a welding journeyperson certificate, B pressure and Inter-Provincial Red Seal, and a minimum of 5 years of recent industry experience.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is commensurate with education and experience, with an estimated annual salary range of $78,998.00 to $113,452.00. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness programs, vacation time, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
