Job Title: Convenience Store Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Convenience Store Cashier to join our team at Alaska Highway Rescue Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Convenience Store Cashier will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Handle customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments
  • Process lottery tickets, alcohol, and tobacco sales
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Work Environment:

The Convenience Store Cashier will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
