We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Sultana Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Grind meats
- Prepare special orders
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
- Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work as part of a team
The Meat Cutter will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and high expectations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
