As a Pharmacy Professional at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional health, beauty, and convenience services to our customers. You will be responsible for managing the operations of the Pharmacy, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, dispensing medication, and maintaining the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements and maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy.
  • Available to work morning, evening, and weekends, and be flexible with scheduling.

Workflow and Inventory Management:

  • Control access to the dispensary with respect to inventory and patient confidentiality.
  • Review stock to identify expired inventory and ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met.
  • Ensure entry/pickup workstations, counselling/waiting areas, and work islands reflect an appropriate image of the Pharmacy.
  • Read and action store communications on in-store web and plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments to Pharmacy colleagues.
