Pharmacist (Full Time) Job Description

At Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist (Full Time) to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing expert advice on medications and health-related products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing medication, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Practice to full scope in providing professional services, including counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed, and communicate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless customer care.
  • Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues, and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Participate in financial reporting, read and action store communications, and file incident reports as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Independent thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business growth and lead by example.
  • Strong customer relations skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Superior problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
