Responsibilities:

* Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct and repair buildings, walls, and other structures.
* Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
* Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
* Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
* Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures.

Requirements:

* Bricklayer Trade Certification
* Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
* Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Working Conditions:
