At Capgemini, we're looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team and help us shape the future of data-driven innovation. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
  • Develop and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data is transformed and loaded into data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Use cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to manage and process large volumes of data efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Java or Python APIs and SQL with experience in the data space (data integration/transformation jobs).
  • Experience with Cloud technologies including AWS EKS Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and DataDog for deploying applications in a DevOps environment.
  • Data Management capabilities; exposure to at least one of the two needs to have this skill.
  • Nice to have: exposure to NiFi and Snaplogic; 3-5 years experience with the below required soft skills as well.
  • Good data engineering knowledge, solving difficult problems utilizing data skills, guiding/teaching other data engineers.
  • Expert data and process modeling knowledge.
  • Performs complex tasks independently, reaching out inside and outside the team scope and contributing in discussions.
