Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Consultant to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our Digital Banking Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work on high-profile projects and contribute to our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed estimates for incoming projects, including high-level and detailed requirements for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and ensure accurate translation through all SDLC phases in waterfall projects.
  • Create, refine, and maintain EPICs & user stories and associated deliverables such as process flow in Agile projects.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with stakeholders to extract requirements and turn them into use cases, user stories, sequence diagrams, and cheat sheets.
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and alignment of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate problem-solving discussions and general communications between the business and IT and within IT itself.
  • Help improve and drive engineering practices by providing valuable inputs and suggestions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by information sharing and team cooperation.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in IT system solution development, with progressively more challenging responsibilities.
  • Ideal candidates have an Engineering or Computer Science degree and pride themselves on analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to notice details, simplify complex situations, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A commitment to staying current on tools and approaches that work best.
  • A passion for collaborating, learning from, and teaching others to become better professionals.
