Settlements Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Settlements Analyst to join our team in the Toronto office. As a key member of our Canadian operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of settlement processes, including booking swaps and rolls, conducting reconciliations, and managing client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking and Reconciliation: Utilize your expertise in FX to efficiently book swaps and rolls, and conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients via phone and email, managing queries and maintaining high service standards under pressure.
  • Payment Processing: Handle domestic Canadian payments, including Swift MT103, amendments, recalls, and adhere to cut-off times.
  • Cross-Border Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of PAD, its operation, benefits, and client desirability.
Requirements:
  • FX Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of FX and Canadian payment systems.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and build strong relationships within a small office environment.
