Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment, including rock trucks and skid steers, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including lubrication and cleaning.
  • Assist in the repair of broken or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction, mining, or operating heavy machinery is preferred.
  • Basic welding and fitting skills are required.
  • Minimum Ontario high school diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Dependability and ability to follow instructions.

Working Conditions

  • Working outdoors and in varied temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Working indoors in varied conditions, including hot, noisy, and dusty environments.
  • Rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends may be required.
