Emergency Nurse

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is committed to working collaboratively with our interprofessional team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency nursing and will be able to assess, plan, and implement care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and collect information from a variety of sources to determine the best course of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate course work in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
