We operate in all geographies throughout Ontario, utilizing traditional project delivery methods as well as alternative modes such as DB, DBF, PPP, and ECI.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Civil Site Superintendent. This opportunity allows you to work for a company with extensive construction experience. As a key member of the KAPP Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for monitoring every step of the construction process, from planning to completion. You will report to the Operations Manager and VP, Construction, and travel throughout the GTA may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specified work within time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, consultants, trade contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to prepare and execute project plans in accordance with contract documents.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and project meetings with stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status with stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinate construction crews, equipment, material supply, inspections, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain communication and working relationships with owners, subcontractors, contract administrators, and other stakeholders, including local residents.
  • Correct deficient work.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and work regulation policies among labor forces, including subcontractors, in conjunction with KAPP Health & Safety department.
  • Analyze specifications, drawings, and construction schedules prior to mobilization to the project site.
  • Track rental equipment and labor.
  • Communicate contract requirements to Foremen.
  • Document out-of-scope or additional work not covered under the base contract and communicate with the Project Manager.
  • Participate in KAPP continuous improvement projects.
