At Manchu Wok, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on how to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience meets our quality control standards.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, as well as maintain accurate records of work schedules, staff performance, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative
