The Role:

As a member of our Acoustics, Noise and Vibration team, you will be part of a local team of industry-leading specialists delivering projects globally. You will manage multiple projects, interact directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, and be responsible for revenue generation through project pursuits, including developing proposals and client presentations.

  • Address challenging problems with local and international clients.
  • Collect and analyze data, create models, and document results.
  • Conduct field measurements and inspections.
  • Lead project teams and develop junior engineers.
  • Write technical reports covering methodology, results, and recommendations.
  • Prepare proposals, marketing materials, and technical papers.
Requirements:

University degree in structural dynamics, advanced degrees an asset.

Experience in structural dynamics and vibration control.

Familiarity with measurement instruments and modeling software, including ultra low-level vibration measurements and predictions.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements with respect to vibration criteria.

Ability to deliver quality technical work while respecting budgets and schedules.

Knowledge of tuned mass damper design and whole-building isolation an asset.

Compensation:

The base rate for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD annually, plus bonus and benefits.
