Lead Java Developer for Digital Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java developer to join our company at Synechron.
With 20+ years of experience in digital solutions, we combine creativity and innovative technology to deliver industry-leading services. Our FinLabs develop cutting-edge solutions for modernization, including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Data Science models, Digital Underwriting, and mobile-first applications.
The Role
This position involves designing, creating, and implementing various Java-based solutions for the business, ranging from mobile applications to database programming.
Responsibilities:
- Providing controls and information on performance management
- Reviewing and contributing to functional and non-functional business requirements and translating them into architectural requirements
- Leading design, coding, unit testing, and debugging applications in various software languages
- Developing technical specifications for COTS software and configuring products based on specifications
Maintaining subject matter expertise of functionality and solution architecture
Requirements:
Applicants should have 6+ years of software development experience and experience in managing software project delivery.
Experience with Spring boot, Microservices, Java 11 version, Spring framework, basics around SQL, Database (NoSQL preferred), Message platform (like Kafka / JMS / MQ equivalent) is required.
Audit skills and knowledge of Agile software development practices and tools are also essential.
Preferred experience includes UNIX, Linux & Shell scripting, Oracle, and MS-SQL database.
