Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Assiniboia Union Hospital. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in promoting health and healing, providing education, and achieving optimum care for clients/patients/residents in all phases of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to clients/patients/residents, promoting health and healing, and achieving optimum care outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct health assessments, identify health needs, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide education and support to clients/patients/residents, families, and caregivers to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Practical Nursing diploma
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS)
  • Valid driver's license, where required
