Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and repair fire alarm equipment, including detectors, panels, and notification appliances
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
