Senior Lighting Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Artist to join our team at People Can Fly Studio. As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for creating compelling lighting that sets the mood, tells the story, and brings the world to life.
Key Responsibilities:- Lighting Design: Create high-quality lighting that enhances the game's atmosphere and visual appeal.
- Collaboration: Work closely with level designers, artists, and programmers to achieve lighting goals and ensure a cohesive visual experience.
- Lighting Tools and Techniques: Design and deliver light objects, IES textures, and other lighting assets, and stay up-to-date with the latest lighting tools and techniques.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze scenes for performance issues and ensure that all lights are optimized for the best possible performance.
- Technical Support: Work with the Tech/Engine department to fix technical lighting issues and provide support for lighting-related problems.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related position in the video game industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in lighting tools and techniques, experience with Unreal Engine, and a strong understanding of performance optimization.
- Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, fine arts, or a related field.
- Shipped-title experience: Experience working on shipped titles in the video game industry.
- Unreal Engine experience: Experience working with Unreal Engine, including lighting and other visual effects.
