Laundry Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Technician to join our team at the Nimpo Lake Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our laundry facilities.

• Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals as required.
• Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
• Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
• Previous experience in a laundry environment is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
