Home Lending Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to work with our customers to understand their mortgage needs and provide personalized solutions. As a Home Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with a referral network to build a pipeline of new mortgage business and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.

You will have the chance to develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results and follow corporate policies, operating directives, legal and regulatory requirements.

• You will proactively contact referral and origination sources identified through the creation of national partnerships and/or creates local partnerships to lead discussions about home financing solutions.
• You will assist with the implementation of targeted marketing programs, promotions, and other initiatives.
• You will actively search for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for positioning to the branch to achieve individual sales and profitability goals.
• You will support the delivery of targeted marketing programs, promotions, and other initiatives.
• You will seek opportunities to expand your network by obtaining referrals and originations from existing relationships.
• You will establish and enhance the Bank's community presence by participating in trade shows, conferences, and related events.
• You will serve as a customer advocate during application and processing activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills. You will also need to have in-depth knowledge of personal lending, relationship sales and management, and functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management.

In addition, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

BMO Financial Group offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, plus commission and performance-based incentives.
