Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mortgage Specialist to join our team in Retail Banking Sales & Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating, building, and managing relationships with a referral network to generate new mortgage business and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.
- Cultivate and manage a referral network to drive business results.
- Actively identify sales opportunities and refer them to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results.
As a Mortgage Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice and guidance. You will also be responsible for following corporate policies, operating directives, legal and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the mortgage industry or a related field.
- A post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
