Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Road Star Trucking. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Facilities Support: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Specialized Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work independently with attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Commercial building.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
What We Offer

We offer a temporary position with 30 hours per week, working in English. We will provide training for the role.
