Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Road Star Trucking. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial building.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Debris and Trash Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Wall Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
  • Experience: Will train, temporary employment, 30 hours per week, English language.
