As a Permanent Full-time Employment Counsellor with our Georgetown branch, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in achieving their employment goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive knowledge of our services and eligibility criteria to support individualized needs of job seekers.
  • Conduct intake and needs assessments for clients accessing assisted services, including Common Assessment Tools.
  • Assess clients' motivation to participate in ES services and commitment to finding employment.
  • Determine suitability and eligibility for employment-related financial support and provide Jobseeker Financial Support as appropriate.
  • Develop individualized action plans for each client, including life stabilization supports, skills enhancement, and skills assessment activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of prevailing labor market conditions and local/ regional labor markets.
  • Collaborate with Job Preparation Counsellors for referral of job-ready clients.
  • Document progress in client action plans and maintain accurate case notes.
  • Complete administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, documentation, and file maintenance.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
