Job Description

Lunatech Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, establishing and implementing policies and procedures for engineering work, and authorizing the development of specifications for products or services.

Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures for engineering work to maintain high standards and efficiency.
  • Product Development: Authorize the development of specifications for products or services to meet customer needs.
  • Design Evaluation: Evaluate technical designs and engineering work to ensure quality and safety.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making.
  • Senior Management: Advise senior management on technical matters and provide expert opinions.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Provincial and Territorial professional engineer registration.
Work Conditions

You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail required. You must be able to work under pressure and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Benefits

This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The salary range is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
